I am a disabled artist. My work often takes a documentary approach. I am a PhD candidate at the University of British Columbia in the Rhetoric of Health and Medicine (currently on parental leave). In 2021, I was the winner of the Emerging Digital Artists Award. I like to write, make documentary films, and work in digital media. I'm currently working on a book-length project Pleasure Medicine. Please reach out if you would like to work with me.

Mirror self-portrait in my childhood bathroom.

Mirror self-portrait in my childhood bathroom. I'm young (!) in my early twenties here. I'm taking a photo over my shoulder to show off my back which has makeup smeared on it, sort of like bruising, after a night of working as a stagehand for a horror burlesque troupe. On the countertop sit bottles of hairspray, mouthwash, deodorant, a cordless phone, cups, and a contacts case.
